How can I remove highlighting of shortcut-keystroke-inserted date?

1. I created a keystroke-shortcut to insert the current date in LibreOffice Writer.
2. When I use this function the inserted date is highlighted (in grey).
3. How do I remove this highlighting?

Hello,

• To not show the highlighting use View -> [ ] Field Shadings (untick, if set) - but I strongly recommend not to do so, since you will lose attention that your document contains fields.

• The highlighting will not print.

• You could set a more convenient color in Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice -> Application Colors -> Category: Custom Colors -> Section: Text Document -> Dropdown: Field Shadings
