Is it possible to completely turn all automated lists off?

I’m currently trying to make a simple indented list but Libre office writer constantly replaces my tab with a bullet. I already turned of autocorrect completely. Is there a way to completely stop Libre office from creating lists unless I specifically click the button to create a list?

edit: Removed my request.

I wasn’t aware of that. I removed the request.

I cannot confirm that pressing TAB key creates a list or a bullet. TAB adds a tabulator character, which is indicated with a light blue arrow, if View -> [x] Formatting Marks is set. Is it possible, that you (mis-) interpret that formatting mark as being a bullet?

I don’t understand what you’re doing. To trigger a list item transformation, the start of your paragraph must follow some conventional sequence and the change must be enabled in Tools>AutoCorrect>AutoCorrect Options, Options tab (where you can also select the bullet).

Edit you question to provide your definition/description of a “simple indented list”. Explain the sequence of key presses which causes the unwanted transformation.
