“LibreOffice.app” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

I keep getting the following error when I try to open Libre Office:

" “LibreOffice.app” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.
This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

Chrome downloaded this file today at 13:38 from www.libreoffice.org."

As you can see I have got the most up to date version, I’ve been getting this error message for a few weeks now. I am on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.1

Any ideas?

I myself work with Windows.

But maybe this post can help you:

LibreOffice and macOS Catalina

This is not a LibreOffice problem, it’s an Apple MacOS problem!
Check out how to open an App which was not “notarized” by Apple

Scrolldown once you’re on that page until you see :

How to open an app that hasn’t been
notarized or is from an unidentified
developer

It’s the the solution with screen shots

Just to mention that LibreOffice is notarized and macOS throws the message anyway. See bug report #tdf126409 - Comment #24
