Why aren't keyboard macros for writer and calc different on macbook pro?

I’m switching from linux to macbook pro. On linux, when I was in a text doc and assigned a macro to a keystroke, it looked like the clip below. When I was in a spreadsheet, the radio button under LibreOffice would show Calc, and I could assign a different macro to it.

Now that I’m set up on a mac, the same macro shows up in both places. I can use different keystrokes, but the flexibility half of what it was under linux. Which is the design goal for the system?

Can’t confirm for LibreOffice 6.3.4.2 on macOS 15.1 (Catalina).
