when I use freeze rows or columns, and close and return to my spreadsheet, it unfreezes the rows and columns frequently.

I’ve selected freeze rows and columns in a spreadsheet. but every few times when I go back into that spreadsheet, I find the selection unfrozen. why is this happening?
