header footer in writer

1. Can I have title and page i.e. both in header How to do that?
2. I have a file in writer with header and footer I added few more pages but header and footer is not appearing on newly added pages,

1. The document’s Title is a “document wide” property you can enter in File - Properties. Then you Insert - Field and select the Title field for where you want the title to appear. Chapter title is more dynamic across your document ; it is the content of the most recent paragraph formatted with a Heading x style. Insert it by using the Chapter field. Page number is inserted by the Page field.
2. Most likely your file has some MS Word residue in it (perhaps still a doc/docx file). Word and Writer are fundamentally different when it comes to handling of page layout, and every transition between Writer and Word context adds to the mess created by the workarounds which are necessary to sensibly (or almost sensibly) handle that difference. In most cases I have found that cleaning up that mess is a Sisyphean task. My strategy is to just copy everything, then Edit - Paste special - unformatted into a new document. Redo all formatting and save to OpenDocument format.
3. Page count is given by the Pages field.
