Why are all my group menu selections grayed out?

The group selections on my drawings are suddenly grayed out so I can’t ungroup my drawing. What can I do to change this? Running 6.0.7.3 on Ubuntu 18.04.

Hard to tell without a sample file.

Finally found a way to upload the file, please see the answer comment below.

The file that is giving me trouble is attached.

Sorry that I had to post this ‘answer’ to my question, but the attachment icon doesn’t appear if I try to make comments on my original post or edit my original post, so this was the only way I could find to post an attachment. Our Van 20191231.odg

the attachment icon doesn’t appear if I try to… edit my original post

It should be available there… strange.

However, now you need to tell what specifically can’t be ungrouped. The arrows are actually two groups, and each may be ungrouped normally here with 6.4.0.1. The raster image below is a raster image, and naturally can’t be ungrouped - so what specifically you select to see the problem?

There shouldn’t be a raster image. I never made one. The entire file was produced from scratch by me. Those individual elements were collectively grouped together and then the arrows were added as another group. So, I guess my question is: If the original image can’t be ungrouped because it has been converted to a raster image, how can I recover the original gouops? And, if I can’t, what caused the original file to be converted to a raster image?

Thank you.

These questions cannot be answered. You had uploaded a file with a raster image (PNG) inside. There’s no groups other than arrows; and what was there before is impossible to get. You could copy then paste as image, or something. Need to invent a time machine to discover. Sorry.
