Hi I have just opened a new page on my Libra office page after writing about 60 pages when I start to type on the new page my curser the little line wont move downwards only cross-ways by using the keypad,I have been trying for three days now something needs adding or adjusting to the script PLEASE HELP

I am guessing from the context of the question that the tags are wrong and should say Writer.
The cursor cannot go beyond the end of the text. To add a new paragraph use the Enter key (↵ ).
If you were using the mouse to add new paragraphs then you were in Direct Cursor Mode (Edit > Direct Cursor Mode). Direct Cursor Mode is training wheels for those coming from Microsoft Office and should be disabled as soon as possible as it discourages proper layout.
