How do I make clicked text disappear for Impress? This will be helpful for my little project.

Thanks for the advice so far. However, I want to make the text disappear without using anything like a slide transition. The disappeared text should remain hidden even if somebody returns to the previous slide and it can only reappear if the presentation is restarted. This appears possible on alternatives to Libreoffice. Does anybody else have additional advice?

I know two methods:

  1. Click on the "more" button to open the "Effect Options" dialog. Find field "After animation". It has as the default "Don't dim". The option "Hide on next animation" might work for you.
  2. Use the animation "Disappear" from Category "Exit".
