LibreOffice installed---but won't open

I was happily running LibreOffice 6.3.3 (on Windows 10) for several weeks, but this morning I tried to reinstall it on my SSD. I’ve re-downloaded and reinstalled it several times, and tried 6.2.8 as well, but I’ve been unable to actually open the program. When I go to the program location, I see lots of stuff, but no large .exe file. The shortcut that the installation automatically created goes to: “D:\Program Files\LibreOffice\program\soffice.exe” — an 86 KB application that does nothing when clicked upon. (Maybe I simply need to correct the shortcut location?)

Thanks!

Maybe this can help you here? :

Installing LO 64-bit on Windows 10

Get Help / Installation Instructions / Windows

General Installation Issues (Windows)

LibreOffice user profile

With me: “C:\Program Files\LibreOffice\program\soffice.exe” = 86kB

Double click starts LibreOffice.

Windows 10 Home; Version 1909; 64-Bit | LibreOffice, Version: 6.3.4.2 (x64).

Thanks for your reply! The problem turned out to be a conflict with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. LibreOffice now working.
