Hi,

No matter what I write in my date column that is formatted too MM/YYYY it wont budge from 12/1899 that also happens to be the example in the Field Format box under the Language selection box.

What can I possibly be doing wrong.

PS Thank you for this brilliant free software.

Thanks for replies.

I switched from MM/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY and now it works fine. Annoying though, only need month and year.

Hello,

This appears to be a bug. Please report here -> Bugzilla

You can currently enter a correctly displayed date using MM/DD/YYYY format (just use 01 for DD) and it will display as MM/YYYY.

Please understand that in databases, regardless of entry or display method, the date will be stored as YYYY-MM-DD.

Edit:

Strangely, if I enter 01/20 the date will result in 01/2020.
