I want to make a database of every piece of equipment in my shop and then have a form where every item in the database is listed with the ability to select it. Once I have selected items I want in the form I would like a list of those items printed. Is Base a good program for doing this?

Makes this too controversial of an issue especially with the information provided.
Can Base do this? Yes, but so can Calc, Writer and even paper and pencil. Just wanting to make a list based upon selections from another list seems to be an overkill for using Base.
