How do I import my dictionaries into a clean install (Ubuntu 12.04)?

Global dictionaries for all users are located in /usr/lib/libreoffice/share/wordbook as .dic files. Copy the ones you want to use there, but you must be root to do this.

Local dictionaries for current user can be placed in ~/.config/libreoffice/3/user/wordbook

If you downloaded dictionaries as extensions (.oxt files), install them via LibreOffice's Extension Manager: Tools → Extension Manager → Add...
