OO hangs and takes all the memory when opening a docx

Hello,

I’m trying to open a somewhat “simple” docx file that is available from the website of the UN
https://www.ohchr.org/EN/HRBodies/HRC/RegularSessions/Session43/Documents/A_HRC_43_71.docx

but Libreoffice 6.4.0.3 (writer) hangs for a long time and takes all the memory until the system (windows 10 - up to date) is unresponsive.

How can I solve this problem?

What is OO?

@mikekaganski I think he means OpenOffice. Since LO originated from OO, it is unfortunately often mixed up linguistically.
