why do calc spreadsheets open to the window size of the last saved one

I am trying to create calc spreadsheets of different sizes, but they always open to the size of the last one closed and saved. How can I make each spreadsheet open to the window size I want?

Please clarify what is meant by size here. Window size, zoom factor, number of rows, number of columns, …?
