Simple one, just making me go nuts. Libreoffice has no issue if you highlight text and change to, say red, of course. But, in the scenario I have (changing just one letter after a number, e.g. ' 11. D'), if I highlight the letter and hit font > red, it changes the BULLET/LIST NUMBER too. I understand this may be a proximity issue, but I can't seem to get around it. I am marking answers to cert practive exams I got wrong, and having to hit clear formatting on the number is driving me nuts!

I can't reproduce this - single character select and font-red - it works fine at my install on LibreOffice 4.0.5 on Windows. The only way bullet/number is selected in red color is if I select whole paragraph - like triple click on single spot - and then select red color.

But in this case I can always hit <home> to get at the first character in line and then hit <ctrl>+M to clear formatting. This clears formatting from bullet/number.
