I would like to be able to do my maths assignments in LibreOffice Writer, but at the moment it is a pain to do so, because in order to insert a formula I have to go to the “Insert” menu, go to “Object” and then “Formula” which is far more tedious than simply using a keyboard shortcut to do so (which is an option with Microsoft Word). Is there a way I can insert a maths formula using a keyboard shortcut instead of going through the drop-down menus?
You can configure it via Tools | Customise and select the Keyboard tab.
