Libreoffice 6.4.1 can't find java

Hello.
I am using libreoffice portable on windows 7.

When I use libreoffice still (6.3.4.2) I can select a java environment in “Options->Advanced”.
If I use libreoffice 6.4.1 in the same computer it can’t detect any java environment, and if I browse the folders to the java installation appears a window with the warning “there is no java installation in that location”.

Is this a libreoffice problem or is it related to libreoffice portable?

Thanks.

When I use libreoffice still (6.3.4.2) … If I use libreoffice 6.4.1 … related to libreoffice portable?

You needed to write your versions in more details. We have both 32- and 64-bit versions of LibreOffice running on Windows (and you omitted your Windows architecture). There’s a FAQ about Java - and it explains that Java architecture must match LibreOffice architecture. Given that for Windows, there’s only 32-bit portables available, while standard installers are offered of the same architecture your OS is, there’s a chance you use 64-bit 6.3.4 (installed from MSI?) vs 32-bit 6.4.1, and 64-bit Java (of unknown version). But - everything is missing in your question, so just guessing.

And there’s also Using Java With LibreOffice Portable on PortableApps.com.

I have solved it by installing portable java.

You are right about the low quality of the question. I think you´re right about 32 or 64 problem.

Thank you very much.
