I am using draw to edit PDF documents. The documents have tracking barcodes printed on top. Draw decodes the barcode and replaces it with numbers as soon as I open the document. I need the barcodes left in place.

Mint Tessa, libreoffice 6.0, pdf original files.

This likely means that the barcodes are in fact texts using some specific "barcode" font absent on your system.

If you click in the rendered numbers Draw should say what font it is. Otherwise, open the pdf in Adobe Reader, click on File | Properties and open the Fonts tab to identify the font.

Probably formatting the numbers in Draw with the free font "3 of 9 Barcode" (search on internet), which does Code 39 barcodes will work but check to see if it the same appearance as in Reader.
