How to insert an image inside a table? [Libreoffice Impress]

Attempted the follow

1. Open empty Libreoffice Impress document.
2. Delete all items.
3. Insert a table (can even be a 1x1).
4. Attempt to insert image.

Problem

Image is not inserted inside the table.

This is a rather import feature the should be easily achievable for a normal user.

Hello, images cannot be anchored in Draw or Impress like in Writer. Be aware that each object is freely movable. If this is not satisfactory for you write a feature request to Bugzilla.

What you can do is to create a table in Writer, add an image and anchor as character. You may copy&insert the table and its graphics content via Paste Icon | LibreOffice Text Document into an Impress (or Draw) document and then edit it for better handling… - Cheers
