What are the Pivot Table customised column sort options? Prefer not to include the sort order lookup data in pivot table.

The dropdown on the first column supports sort ascending, sort descending and custom sort. A custom sort list might be suitable for some applications.

Option with custom sort list. Select a sorted list of cells to use as a custom list, choose Tools - Options - LibreOffice Calc - Sort Lists. Copy list from: will be auto-populated with selected cells. Apply.

I assume the list is applied to the user's configuration and wouldn't be available to a user on another computer. How useful is this in a shared Pivot table?

I assume

So you are making conclusions about usefulness based on your assumptions? or are you asking how useful assuming is?

Just stating my assumption of how this works within the computer and asking for an opinion if this is a useful approach given other people will have to use the file (in Excel).

Some options in Edit pivot table properties, double clck on a row/column field, options, sort by, if this way doesn't allow to solve the question, you can hide the column with the field that you don't to include in the pivot table.

Yeah, pretty useless: Ascending, Descending, Manual (Sorts values alphabetically). Re hide column: Prefer not to include the sort order lookup data in pivot table.
