Print dialogue too large to select "OK" to print

LibreOffice version 6.4.2.2. Print Dialogue is too large in depth (height) to show buttons to select OK, cancel, Help. Options.
Resize selection only allows width change not depth (height) .
Making the bottom panel ‘hide’ or ‘hide intelligently’ does not solve problem.
This print dialogue problem exists in Calc and Writer

until you figure out how to resize the dialogue, assuming you need a print out, now.
have you tried pressing the key as it is probably the highlighted option.
if not the key should allow you to cycle through the options even though you will not see them.

This is how: press shift/tab then enter. The “Print” button is the last on the dialog. On Linux this is an unreasonably mis-sized dialog box. The many complaints are valid. Why won’t you fix it?

You didn’t say what operating system you’re running. If Windows, this won’t help, but if you’re running Linux, here’s a running thread of the problems the developers are encountering (for months!) trying to fix this critical regression. But importantly, a useful workaround (for Linux) was posted by FerbTux in comment #67.

There are a couple of other workarounds, but require some tech experience with shell scripting, or modifying .desktop files. This one is the easiest to implement until a fix (that actually works) is committed.

Note that the link above is for LibreOffice, but on a different platform. Ask.libreoffice seems to be more for usage questions, not bugs. Anyway, be patient. They’re working hard on it. (I’m just a common user.) HTH

Workaround - using a Mac: in the print dialogue the default option is ‘libreoffice’ - change to any of the other ones.
Workaround for MacBook 12" - change screen resolution to ‘scaled’.

It would be best if the print dialogue was smaller.
