How to reset Libre to original default settings?

I changed some settings in preferences, and I had documents that changed because of my actions. I want to set all the Libre office settings back to their original settings, so that my documents will be rendered fully again. . .
Thanks

OP: @dbassd

A re-set of the user profile should get you the default settings back. You don’t mention which OS you’re on (Win? Mac? Linux?), or which version of LibO,* so best to check the documentation linked which covers all OS’s and recent versions.

(* It’s a good idea to include this information whenever you’re asking for help here.)

I thought that the website did the OS settings automatic, I was mistaken, and will not for5get. I use Mac OS10.6.8
I use Lib 4.1.2.3
I hope that helps. . .
I will also try the user profile reset
Thanks and I hope this works will let you all kmow shortly. . .

@dbassd - “I use Lib 4.1.2.3…” - in that case, make sure you change the \4 folder, not \3 as those instructions say. Let us know how it goes!

Geat, well done

Let’s get you an answer instead of the previously provided cruel nitpicking, from Libre’s website
https://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Toolbars#Restore_Default_Settings

Tools pull down menu,
Customize / Options, reset your selected toolbar to default, but for toolbar color issues that washes out the icons making them hard to read,

it is a different set of needlessly confusing menus open source software is famous for

Tools pull down menu,
Options / Libre Office / View and try a different Icon theme.

The whole package is bug ridden, written by unpaid contributors and “forum maintained” by lonely unpaid volunteers feeling entitled to respond harshly as you were originally by some major contributor hovering over every newly posted issue like a buzzard catching thermal updrafts.
No doubt, the guy that spent more time critiquing your question instead of admitting they didn’t know will find some way to delete my response or bully out the accurate depiction of his needlessly cruel manner.

Seriously? You are going to provide an inaccurate answer like this (when the one provided by @dajare is correct), and then abuse the community as a whole? Good luck with your karma.
