How do you move a column without changing the formulas

How do you move a column without changing the formulas that are in the column. If you copy and pasta the formula changes to the new locations which will not work.

Please change tags! don seems to be your name and has nothing to do with LO.

Apparently, your question is not related to the formula editor Math but to the spreadsheet app Calc. In this case, the correct tag is calc.

Question retagged for site consistency. If you disagree, and also to give a more appropriate tag, use the retag link under your question.

Hello,

use absolute addressing ($A$1 instead of A1) in your formulas - see LibreOffice Help - Addresses and References, Absolute and Relative

Hope that helps.

You can also use Cut and Paste instead of Copy and Paste.

If you also want to keep the original first Copy and Paste to a temporary space. Then Copy and Paste back from here after the above.
