Does file locking under Alfresco (WebDAV) work?

Hi,

I’m using LibreOffice 4.1.1.2 with Alfresco Document Management System 3.0.2.
When I open a document for editing in Alfresco, it won’t lock. So if any other user opens the same document, it won’t open as read only, but also in editing mode. So now whe have two users, both editing the same document, and changes to the document will be saved from user who makes the last save.

As far as I can remeber, the (webdav) locking functionality worked on LibreOffice 3.6.x
If one user opened the document for editing, others got a message that the document is locked by another user, and could open it as read only.

Is it a bug and should be posted in bugzilla?
or there is some other way around this feature?

Is this a problem with file locking or the CMIS checkout process as described in bug fdo#62531? I don’t have a proper answer but if your problem is not related to LO CMIS then I would encourage you to report a bug. Provide as much detail as you can and report the bug number back here in the form “fdo#123456”.
