Conditional format of border and font separately

I have a sheet where I would like to enable the following conditional format:

Cells under a condition A have a certain top border.
Cells under a condition B have a certain font color.

Now separately this works nicely with conditions and styles, but I cannot manage to get:

Cells under condition A and B should have the top border with the certain font color.

Now it would be possible to add special formating rules for combinations of conditions but then the rules would explode quickly given additional conditions… Further the range where both apply to overlaps but is not identical.

Also I would like to be able to enforce a left border for a certain column, which seems to be overridden by the top border style, even if i use a ‘gray left border’ in the top border style.

Is there any way to do that?

Have you tried changing the analyse order of the conditions?
The first having the condition is applied, I think to reduce the time to verify the conditions.
