Using 'If' to display today's date.

I want to display today’s date on my June spreadsheet IF we’re currently in June, but to stay blank if not. I usually use the ‘If’ command, but can’t figure how to use it for a range of dates i.e. 1st June - 30th June or >31 May and <1 July. Please also advise the correct protocol for entering a date in a formula. Thanks.

Look at MONTH function, which help page includes a sample that uses current datetime.
