How do I delete a watermark from a text document?
It depends on how the watermark was added. If your document is rather old and predates the Format>Watermark command, you need to know the technical nature of the watermark.
If you are still in need of a solution, edit your question (don’t use an answer reserved for solutions) to add a description of the watermark.

Menu Format - Watermark…, delete the content of Text.
May be also you will need to unmark Header on in menu Format - Page - Header tab.
