I would like to see Libreoffice come up with a version of screenwriting software like final draft that could be updated.

Edit - Moved from main question:

@gabix why are you an (not needed remark removed)? (posed as a question)/ It would be nice to reach Libre without having to post on boards and deal with...

End Edit

Software that can automatically place characters names scene descriptions etc etc.

Don't assume we know all existing pieces of software, all the most if they address a niche. Edit your question to make it some sort of specification, they could help to give you suggestions with the existing features of Writer.

I don't know what a "screenwriting software" looks like either, but did your tried the Screenwright(R) screenplay formatting template?

Subscribing to above comments, I'd suggest you propose/describe what are top 3 MUST HAVE features and how they work - maybe other people with same needs can upvote (if not suggest way to achieve what you need with current LO) and propose to include/develop them in the future.

millions of us

Really? Then why wouldn’t each one of those millions of you donate, say, 5 dollars (or euros, or pounds)? That would raise enough money to sponsor development of an app.

Anyway, this site is for questions and answers about LibreOffice usage. Thus, your posting is off-topic. Change it to be a real question.

@clark ratliff,

Please keep main question short and to the point. Thank You.
