I've just installed LibreOffice on a mac running OSX 10.8.5.

If LO is running, OSX launches a daemon called Taskgated, which runs at a constant cpu load of 45%. As soon as I quit LO, Taskgated also quits. This didn't happen with previous versions of LO. Bug? I was only using Calc, so it could be specifically a Calc issue or an app-wide issue.

Please report this issue as a bug and include as much detail as possible. If a previous version (you do not indicate which) did not invoke taskgated in this manner, then it may be a problem with LO. From what little I understand it is a security process. Please post a link to any bug you report back here in the format "fdo#123456". Thanks.
