I’ve made some tables in Writer for purely text data. For some reason Writer has converted some cells in to numbers-- 0. How do I turn them back into words again. I didn’t do anything to change it and Number recognition is turned off.

Did you use AutoFormat on the tables? Could be a bug: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119377
If it is , then the data is still there in the XML. Apparently, you can still open the document in Abiword and the original data will still be there. Good luck, Al
Select the cells (or entire table) and Table>Number Format.
In Category, choose Text.
