Base Switchboard does not connect to DB

Hi, I am using Libreoffice base 6.3.6.2 (x64) on Windows 10 with a newly splitted HSQLDB database.

I have made a switchboard to easily call all forms from one place. problem is that when openeing the forms it doesn’t connect to the database. It does connet when I started LO Base ahead of the switchboard. The Error says: "The driver class ‘org.hsqldb.jdbcDriver’ could not be loaded.The additional driver class path is ‘…hsqldb.jar’ "

Is there a way to connect to the DB directly from the standalone forms without starting base?

Hello,

Would say there is something incorrect in your form(s). Have just re-tested (don’t use personally) on two different systems (no switchboard) with standalone forms and there was no need to have base open.

The message you are showing is typical of something wrong in the content.xml file (one of the files within the .odb). But this makes no sense as it works when you open the Base file.

You need to check the standalone form connections. Hard to tell what may be wrong from a distance and without files.
