date formatting for different parts of date

In a cell I want to have date in the format DD MMM DD, YYYY, but I want DD in red color, MMM in blue color and YYYY in green bold. How do I do that?
Please note this is not a conditional formatting.

Thank you.

Do you really use format DD MMM DD, YYYY? So, today is “19 Jun 19, 2020”?

Or you mean DDD MMM DD, YYYY (“Fri Jun 19, 2020”)? In this case which part must be red?

Hello,

AFAIK you can’t do that. Color codes for formatting cells must be placed in front of the time code itself (i.e.[RED]DD MMM DD, YYYY) but you can’t use color codes within the time code part (i.e. something like DD [RED]MMM DD, YYYY won’t work). In other words: One color code can be used for a cell as a whole only.
