At teh edge of my graphs, it says Column A, C…B etc. How to put the actual heading in?

include the headers into your data range when creating the chart and it will be the legend label automatically (i.e. select data range incl. the headers and then Insert -> Chart).

You can also edit the existing legend by double-clicking on the chart to put it into Edit mode, then single-click on the legend to put it into Edit mode. Now right-click on the legend – You will get a little menu. Choose Data Ranges. Now you can edit the labels for the legend. Type your own text into the Range for Name boxes. Be sure to enclose your chosen text in quotation marks. It is a bit nitty-gritty, but it works. Hope this might help too.
