PROBLEMS UNDERSTANDING/FOLLOWING WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS. I NEED TO TALK TO A “LIVE” PERSON TO GUIDE/REWORD/ANSWER ME WITH DOWNLOADING APP. I’M ALSO COMPUTER ILLITERATE. I USUALLY FIGURE THINGS OUT BY CLICKING ON ON THINGS TIL I GET WHERE I WANT TO GO, BUT THAT SOMETIMES TAKES HOURS AND DOES STRANGE THINGS TO THE COMPUTER AND TENDS TO MOVE THINGS WHERE NO ONE HAS GONE BEFORE. I HAVE A MAC AND USUALLY CALL APPLE FOR HELP, BUT I THOUGHT YOUR FAMILIARITY WITH FREELIBRE MIGHT MOVE THINGS ALONG AT A FASTER PACE. CAN YOU HELP ME?

- I am not familiar with any freelibre, whatever it might be. Perhaps, you are at a wrong site.
We are no 24/7 commercial help desk. We are users like you. Only we claim to be “power users” because of our heavy use of LO, having gained a deep knowledge of the behaviour of the suite and found a certain number of tricks not explicitly written in the documentation.
Phone numbers would only be personal numbers. You easily understand:
- we won’t disclose private data on the net
- in case a number is given, are you ready to pay for international phone call (e.g. from Papua to Svalbard)?
You say you are computer illiterate. Consequently, achieving what you want would probably need hours to make sure you can reproduce it yourself.
Your best solution is to find a close friend/relation versed in MacOS X and LO ready to give you private lessons.
