Can Color Scale formatting be logarithmic?

For a data table, I want to get conditional formatiing with a (two entry) color scale, such that the colors are not distributed linearly, but logarithmically (i.e. the data table should be coloured as if it contained the logarithms of the original values). This is useful when the entries span a great numeric range, but you still want to see the differences of small values, too.

No.

Of course you can use 3-entries color scale, and put the medium color closer to your small values. If that doesn’t fit you, you may need to add a column with logarithms of your data, and color-scale format it.
