I have been using Chrome OS with great enjoyment. The LibreOffice apps are not produced as a native Chrome OS app.

It is available as an online extension or thru the Linux emulator. Unfortunately the linux emulator is totally unreliable on Chrome OS.

Since the Chromebooks are becoming extremely popular + téléwork, is there a plan to produce a true native Chrome OS LibreOffice package???

I am trying to leave windows to Chrome OS, but the lack of apps is a major issue.

The obvious solution is not to use chrome os and use a full linux distro.

Short answer: No plan.

Long answer: someone would have to do all the work for the ChromeOS port (if it's possible at all).
