I am trying to create something like this, where the dates and amounts automatically appear and update based on the client name in column J.
Can anyone point me to the correct function I should use for something like this?

Why don’t you just sort your data by client? (If you can’t do that, check for Pivot Tables).
I have actually a much larger amount of data, but want to be able to provide a simple summary like this. I will check out Pivot Tables. Thank you
Also look at subtotals - maybe it will be easier than a pivot table, but it will give an acceptable solution
