I have many impress templates which I want to use in PowerPoint for my Work.

It's always risky with document created in one program to continue in another. When you convert it into the other program's format, you inevitably introduce conversion artifacts: conversion is never perfect. Often we can trace "Word history" of a document that had been converted from Word to Writer ten years ago.

The more so it would be for templates, which would be a starting point for your future presentations, all of those will bear the garbage from conversion of the template.

But everyone is free to shoot own feet ... so just use the command line, and --convert-to would help you.

I explicitly don't make this an answer, since I don't think it's the proper answer (which would be "don't do that").

Since you target explicitly Impress templates, please retag your question impress instead of common
