Deleting Cond Fmt does not remove it

I’m converting an AOO spreedsheet to LOO Calc and getting used to the interface for the conditional formatting. The manage function provides an overview that has revealed some artifacts that I was unaware of. A couple of cells have conditional formatting that should not. However, there are many other cells with the same CF shown on the same line that I wish to retain. Therefore I did not choose remove from the Manage dialog and Canceled out. Instead I selected one cell then from the Format menu chose Conditional then Condition… and responded Yes to the prompt. In the dialog displaying the condition for editing I clicked on Delete. The condition disappeared so I clicked OK. Subsequently when I reviewed the results with the Manage function, I discovered that the condition was not deleted.

What is the process of removing conditional formatting?

Deleting of existing conditional formatting.
To delete existing conditional formatting follow next steps:

  1. Select Format ►Conditional ►Manage in main menu to open the Manage Conditional Formatting dialogue
  2. Select the cell range in the list where you want to delete conditional formatting.
  3. Click the Delete button
  4. Click the OK button to close the Manage Conditional Formatting dialog

Can this help?

Close but not completely correct.
The Manage dialog has a comma separated list of ranges and does not allow selection within the list.
Also there is no Delete button.
However your guidance did lead me to the Edit button which produced another dialog where I could make the selection and which did have a Delete button.
So that got the job done. Thanks

I’m still concerned that the steps I outlined in my post which seem to me to be logical failed. Especially as they appeared to work. BUG?

Select Format ►Conditional ►Manage in main menu to open the Manage Conditional Formatting dialogue
Select the line containing the range to be deleted
Click Edit button
Select the cell range you want to delete conditional formatting.
Click the Delete button
Click the OK button to close the Manage Conditional Formatting dialog
