I am doing a book. The first half of the book has the exact same header that I need for the second half with the exception of a text change. Is there an easy way just to change the text without much bother? I am new to Libre Office so headers and footers are a challenge to me.
The usual solution to this is to insert fields in the header to fetch “document states”, like current page mumber, document title, chapter/section name or number.
If you explain what change you need and why you need it, there is certainly a solution. At worst you may need to create a new page style, but that may hurt consistency as you work with your document, so let us try other paths first. Give us the detail I mentioned. Help us to help you.
