CALC Warnings

Hi,
Whenever I want to link some base data into Calc for charting I end up with some cryptic error message, the data transfers ok, I can do whatever and save it after, refresh on open no problem.
So what is the warning all about and can it be suppressed ?

Thank you.

Hello,

When posting a question, please take a moment and try and look at it from the perspective of someone who has no knowledge of what you see or can examine.

For example, the message box states to Press "More"... but I cannot do that. Did you? What was the message? What is the SQL (seems to be part of where the problem is)? DB? Please post with each question as this can change. OS? LO version?

Hello,

Based upon the limited information presented and the message box:

warning: null value eliminated in set function

it appears the SQL is performing a count or sum on a column which contains NULL’s.

If this is the case, eliminate the NULL’s and problem will be fixed.

@Ratslinger
My humble apologies, yes clicked the more button which shows next to nothing, second row has an errorcode as in the screen dumps.
Win10, LO 6.4.5.2 HSQL2.51

Your diagnosis is correct as I have a chain of nested queries with one of the early ones producing nulls which are offset in another query by using COALESCE(“subtotal”,0)
So I guess based on the wording of the warning, calc fixed whatever the problem is was and I can ignore it.
