When I open O365 excel file in libreoffice and linked excel are not available it does not show cached data

Hello,

I am almost new on LO and I am trying to work basically with it and get rid of O365 excel, I have noticed that when I open any spreadsheet that contains external link to another spreadsheet it does not show the last saved data from the external excel file .External excel file is not available on target computer since i am trying to use Main excel file on another computer.

Ex:

PC A:
Main.xlsx file has below files linked:

data1.xlxs and data2.xlxs

  • If I open Main.xlsx from O365 Excel app it updates the content of the cell.
  • If I open Main.xlsx from LO it does update the content of the cell

PC B:
Open Main.xlsx file but saved data from linked file does not exist, only formula

data1.xlxs and data2.xlxs do not exist on PC B

  • If I open Main.xlsx from O365 Excel app it shows the data from DATA 1 and 2 in the cell (I think it is using any cached data from external Excel files).
  • If I open Main.xlsx from LO it does not show the data from DATA 1 and 2 in the cell (It means LO voids cache data saved on Main.xlsx)

I am using LO with default settings.

Am I missing something?

Thank you in advanced for your help.

Probably office 365 is
synchronizing your spreadsheet to one held on your one drive, or is caching it there. If you store files on a cloud storage facility like one drive, Dropbox, Google drive, etc you can access then from any computer that can sign in with same user name and password, or has had the file or location shared as another user name.

Hello

Thank you for your respose.

I do not use O365 connected to one drive or Google Drive, all files are stored locally on C: drive either on computer A or computer B.
