my end goal is to make a “scan in / scan out” stock management system.
currently i am trying to figure out how to make a simple from, which will have the product id number imported via the scanner and a text box to enter the quantity of stock of that item is being added. Finaly i need a button or some kind of way to then send that data to my table to be added to the current stock list and rest the form for the next item.
i cannot seem to find a way to import the data from my from into my table under the correct product id.
i gave coding a macro a go but had no clue how to reference where i wanted the data to come from or go to?
eg in Microsoft Excel/acesses you could use the cell reference/ Link tables/forms together, i cannot seem to do that. what dose libreoffice use?
