Libre office opens my Open Office .odt files as read only. It lets me edit them but won’t let me save them after they are edited. Any ideas?

In Windows 10 you need to allow Libreoffice to access folders protected by ransomware protection. This could be in your third party anti virus or Windows Defender included with Windows.

In Apple you need to allow full disc access
