During installation, there arr two error messages: mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/usr/share/icons/hicolor/icon-theme.cache’: Not a directory mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/usr/share/icons/hicolor/index.theme’: Not a directory How serious are these? They appear on every installation. Since the names do not represent directories, will there be a correction?

not serious at all - just ignore them. In fact there are two files having these names

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 67828 15. Aug 11:28 /usr/share/icons/hicolor/icon-theme.cache
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 55507 20. Sep 2019 /usr/share/icons/hicolor/index.theme

and therefor the command fails, since you cannot have to entries with the same name.

Thanks. Glad they're not a problem, but why "mkdir" if they're files?

why "mkdir" if they're files?

These files are not from LibreOffice packages but do exist on certain GNU/Linux systems (you didn't mention yours) and as far as I understand an found, the mkdir is a consequence of installing libreoffice...-freedesktop-menues-...-noarch.rpm.
