Simple page numbering

It used to be that when you printed a document you could click a little box to enable page numbering. Voila!

I’m honestly not sure how long ago that was - maybe dinosaurs roamed the earth - but that does not appear to happen anymore.

Sometimes I might want to meticulously format my entire document to the pixel, but sometimes I just want to blast out a quick outline or letter or something and I just want page numbers. I don’t want to have to care about formatting the page numbers; I don’t care where they are, just so long as every page has one.

And I don’t want to have to figure out some complex mantra to make it happen.

Is this possible? If so, how do I do it?

Thanks!

Just switch ON the footer or the header in the applied Page style (I suppose that is the Default one in your document), and insert a page number label into it. The page numbers will be appeared on every page what was formatted by the Default page style.

Weird, but it works. Thank you.
