I have seven sheets with names and id numbers in one Calc file. If I run a search on either name or id number I would have expected calc to find it in any of the sheets, but I have to manually go to each sheet and do the search.
However, taking a look at the search results window’s tabs [Sheet][Cell][Content] it surely should be possible.
What am I missing?
Edit → Find and replace, mark All sheets
Okay, this worked. Now, for the question. Why if I click on edit Find enter the search field and click Find All it only return the values for the sheet you are in. Should it not return the search results of all the instances in the calc file’s sheets? Edit → Find and Replace → all sheets works, but it’s illogical if you are only searching to go to find and replace.
