Can I migrate my autocorrect options file to a new computer?

I am going to buy a new iMac. I have programmed a lot of typing shortcuts into my current autocorrect file, and would like to copy the file to use on my new computer so I won’t have to program all the items in again from scratch.

I also have a related question. I haven’t been able to make the autocorrect options work on my laptop, beyond about five entries. Is there some reason for this? And is there a simple fix? Thanks

The paths to Autocorrect, Autotext, Dictionary, Templates, etc. are shown in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Paths. Copy the appropriate folders to backup and add the files to the new Mac

When you open Tools > AutoCorrect > AutoCorrect Options the first thing you need to do is make sure the language in the field Replacements and Exceptions for language is set to the language you use in your documents. If you don’t change that field and you don’t use that language in your documents then you will never see the effects of your carefully crafted corrections.

In my case my locale is NZ but I use English (UK) for documents so I always have to change this field from English (NZ) before I make any alterations. Cheers, Al

Very helpful and much appreciated! Thanks, Jim Boggs
