pdf export from paypal

If I create an Invoice or Estimate from PayPal, the formatting breaks at the top and at the bottom i.e. the header, Notes, & Terms and Conditions sections. Is there a setting on LibreOffice Write that could affect Draw, like text alignment or something?

I’m running 7.0.1.2 and Windows 10 19041.508.

Edit: here’s a sample of how it looks in png image - looks extra scuffed because I use Dark Mode for writing - no idea why the letters are black too

Never paste formatted contents from a foreign source into your documents. Use the “Unformatted text option”, and then reformat your document in the Writer.

I didn’t copy and paste the content. It’s exported from PayPal directly and the format looked ugly upon opening the file.

Can you upload a sample file here?

The text part of a PDF file format contains LABELS only. They are graphical objects in the Draw application. You can apply your own Object Style to the graphical objects.

This forum doesn’t accept pdf files. I’ve updated the original post with an image. I still believe it should be ‘not ugly’ by default, but if you can help me with the Object Style thing after seeing the image, do let me know. Thanks.

Add .zip to the filename and note the change you have made in your question. An image tells us what you see, but not why.
You might also mention your LO version and OS type and version.

Hey thanks for replying. Oh yea I forgot. I’m running 7.0.0.3 from the pre-release and on Windows 10. It’s weird that it says my LibreOffice version is up to date when there is 7.0.1 available. I guess I’ll try to manually update that. Edit: it still looks the same in 7.0.1.2.

And btw the forum also doesn’t accept .zip

Edit 2 : it should be easy to create one yourself from your paypal account, create invoice/estimate > manage invoice/estimate > click the dropdown arrow under Action > PDF

Well, try .odt then. Or, since you know it works .png Just advise about the change when you upload. And maybe you could add your versions info to the the question so it is immediately available without having to look through all the comments.
